The intensity is present but not disruptive, which means it can be lived alongside for years without ever being consciously directed.
The hard aspects (square or opposition)
Square or opposed, intensity in love becomes a subject to be worked out. Jealousy, fear of loss and struggles over power within a relationship recur, along with attractions that are difficult to explain and hard to leave. Naming this plainly matters more than dramatising it. The configuration produces real emotional depth once the pattern is recognised, and recognition is generally what the recurrence is for.

Conjunct, love and intensity are inseparable. Attraction is immediate and total, privacy about it is fierce, and the relationships that matter operate at a pitch other people find hard to sustain. Artistic and financial instincts run deep. Ending anything is difficult even when ending it is correct. The placement rewards a chosen outlet for its intensity, since it will find one regardless.
