Uranus in aspect to Pallas
Uranus jumps and Pallas sees structure; where they meet, the pattern is perceived all at once rather than assembled. Insight arrives whole and the reasoning has to be reconstructed afterwards for anyone else's benefit. Invention, mathematics, technology and any field where the received arrangement is wrong all reward it. The reconstruction is genuine work and is frequently skipped, which is the difference between a person with a reputation and a person with a body of results. The proving is the part that turns an insight into something other people can use.

The soft aspects (trine or sextile)
A trine or a sextile makes the flashes usable. The person has the insight and then does the unexciting work of proving it, which is what separates the inventor from the person with opinions. They are also able to wait, which this configuration otherwise finds nearly impossible. Waiting is not passivity here; it is what allows the evidence to accumulate.
The hard aspects (square or opposition)
Square or opposition, brilliance refuses method. Solutions are produced that nobody can follow, or an original idea is discarded because it did not arrive in an orderly way. Writing the argument down is the whole remedy, and the objection to it — that the writing is not where the thinking happened — is true and irrelevant. Writing it down also protects the claim, which this configuration otherwise loses to whoever explains it better.
The conjunction
Conjunct, insight and structure fuse. Such people see the answer some distance before they can justify it, and spend a good deal of their lives waiting for everyone else to arrive. The waiting is the difficult part, and it does not get easier with vindication. Documentation is the only thing that converts being early into being credited.
Reading it in a chart
The orb settles how strongly this shows: a contact within a degree is a defining feature of a chart, one at the edge of the orb is a colouring. The signs the two planets occupy change the manner, the houses change the arena, and a third planet touching either of them can change the reading entirely.
