Sun and Juno · identity through partnership
Sun in aspect to Juno
Juno concerns commitment: the terms a person requires of a bond, and what they will and will not accept inside one. On the Sun it becomes part of who they are. Such people are defined by their partnerships to a degree that others find surprising, and they are rarely casual about any of it — being somebody's is a component of being themselves. That is not dependence in the ordinary sense; it is closer to a structural fact about how the identity is organised, and it does not change with maturity.

The soft aspects (trine or sextile)
Trine or sextile, partnership supports the self rather than competing with it. The person is more themselves inside a good bond than outside one, and chooses well enough for that to be an advantage. Friends generally notice that they improve in a relationship rather than disappearing into it. The choosing is the skill, and it is generally exercised earlier than their friends expect.
The hard aspects (square or opposition)
Square or opposition, the self and the partnership pull against each other. Either identity is surrendered to keep the arrangement, or the arrangement is broken to prove the identity survived. Stating what is non-negotiable early prevents most of it, and the difficulty is that the non-negotiables are usually discovered by violating them rather than known in advance. Discovering one costs a relationship; stating one costs a conversation.
The conjunction
Conjunct, marriage and identity are the same subject. It is a strong placement for a lasting bond and a hard one for a period of being single, which tends to read as a fault rather than a phase. The person will generally take a poor arrangement over none, and the correction is not to want less but to become able to wait.
Reading it in a chart
The orb settles how strongly this shows: a contact within a degree is a defining feature of a chart, one at the edge of the orb is a colouring. The signs the two planets occupy change the manner, the houses change the arena, and a third planet touching either of them can change the reading entirely.
