Saturn in aspect to Pallas
Saturn builds what lasts and Pallas designs it. This is the pairing of the architect, the engineer and the institutional reformer: patient, structural, uninterested in the version that merely looks right. Work under this contact is slow and stands up. What it lacks is speed, and a willingness to ship anything that is not finished — which is a real cost in any field where being early matters more than being durable, and this configuration is constitutionally unable to believe such fields exist. Being right eventually is a real form of success and is not the only one.

The soft aspects (trine or sextile)
Trine or sextile, discipline and design agree. Plans are realistic, executed over years, and the person is trusted with things that must not fail. They estimate accurately, which is rarer and more valuable than estimating optimistically. An accurate estimate is worth more than an ambitious one to everybody except the person commissioning it. Nobody thanks them for it until the schedule holds and everyone else's has not.
The hard aspects (square or opposition)
Square or opposition, the structure and the strategy obstruct each other. Rules already in place prevent the better arrangement, or a clever design is defeated by what it would actually cost. Building the smaller version first settles most of it, and is resisted because the smaller version is visibly not the real thing. Shipping the small version is the whole discipline and is resisted every time.
The conjunction
Conjunct, thinking is construction. It produces serious, methodical people whose work outlives them and who are difficult to hurry by any means whatsoever. Pressure applied to the schedule tends to be absorbed without visible effect on the pace. Deadlines set by other people are generally treated as information rather than as instructions. A deadline they set themselves, however, is treated as a fact about the world.
Reading it in a chart
The orb settles how strongly this shows: a contact within a degree is a defining feature of a chart, one at the edge of the orb is a colouring. The signs the two planets occupy change the manner, the houses change the arena, and a third planet touching either of them can change the reading entirely.
