Saturn in aspect to Chiron
Saturn builds the structure that keeps a person functioning; Chiron is the thing the structure is built around. Together they produce competence raised on top of a fault, which holds well and is inspected constantly. These people are dependable to a fault, tend to have matured early, and frequently regard the maturity as ordinary rather than as something that was paid for. Ask when they first felt responsible for something that was not theirs to carry and the answer is usually a specific age well under twelve. They will describe it, if asked, without any sense that it was remarkable.

The soft aspects (trine or sextile)
A trine or a sextile makes discipline genuinely repair things. Slow, unglamorous work in the injured area produces mastery, and the mastery is transferable. The pairing is common in people who become the reliable one in a field that once defeated them, and the reliability is not performance — it is the accumulated result of having done the thing badly for long enough to get good at it without an audience.
The hard aspects (square or opposition)
Square or opposition, effort and hurt reinforce each other. Every setback is read as proof of the original verdict, and the answer attempted is more discipline, which deepens the groove. What helps is lowering the standard deliberately once, and finding that nothing collapses. That experiment is resisted harder than almost anything else this pairing is asked to do, because the standard is what has been holding the whole arrangement together.
The conjunction
Conjunct, the injury has been formalised into a rule about life. It makes a serious, capable and rather guarded person, often one who arrived at adulthood ahead of schedule and has been carrying it since without much complaint. The rule is usually some version of expecting nothing and preparing for the worst, which is not cynicism so much as a conclusion drawn accurately from limited early evidence and never updated.
Reading it in a chart
The orb settles how strongly this shows: a contact within a degree is a defining feature of a chart, one at the edge of the orb is a colouring. The signs the two planets occupy change the manner, the houses change the arena, and a third planet touching either of them can change the reading entirely.
