Saturn in aspect to Ceres
Saturn restricts and Ceres nourishes, which is a cold pairing to have and a durable one to grow out of. It frequently describes an early experience of care that was conditional, rationed or delivered as duty. The adult version is reliable to the point of grimness: this person will show up, will do what is needed, and will find warmth harder than obligation. Anybody who has been looked after by them knows they can be counted on and may never have been sure they were liked. Both things are true at once, and the person would be surprised to hear the second doubted.

The soft aspects (trine or sextile)
Trine or sextile, the discipline makes the care dependable. Support arrives on time, over years, without fuss, which is worth more than a great deal of warmth delivered erratically. The person is the one still visiting long after the crisis stopped being interesting to anyone else. Reliability of this kind is undervalued until it is the only thing still present.
The hard aspects (square or opposition)
Square or opposition, nourishment and denial argue. Comfort is withheld from the self as a matter of course and offered to others as a duty. Accepting something freely given, without repaying it, is the specific difficulty, and the repayment reflex is fast enough that most people never notice the transaction being closed. Receiving without settling the account is a skill and takes deliberate practice.
The conjunction
Conjunct, care is a responsibility rather than a pleasure. There is real constancy here and a strong tendency to confuse being needed with being loved, which usually takes a long time to notice and is generally noticed when a relationship ends in which they were indispensable and not, on reflection, especially wanted. That discovery, when it lands, tends to reorganise a good deal of what came before it.
Reading it in a chart
The orb settles how strongly this shows: a contact within a degree is a defining feature of a chart, one at the edge of the orb is a colouring. The signs the two planets occupy change the manner, the houses change the arena, and a third planet touching either of them can change the reading entirely.
