Pallas in aspect to Juno
Pallas sees the pattern and Juno is the bond it looks at. Together they make someone who understands the mechanics of their own relationships with uncomfortable accuracy — the roles, the cycles, who reliably starts what. It is genuinely useful for repairing a partnership and can be used, just as easily, to win arguments inside one. Which of the two it gets used for is decided long before any particular conversation, by whether the person is more interested in the relationship or in being right about it. Most people with this contact can say which of the two they default to under pressure.

The soft aspects (trine or sextile)
Trine or sextile, the insight serves the bond. Problems are identified before they harden and the identification is offered as help rather than as evidence. The partner comes to rely on it rather than to brace against it. The insight is welcome because it is evidently offered for the relationship rather than for the record. Being trusted with the observation is what makes the next one welcome.
The hard aspects (square or opposition)
Square or opposition, analysis is used against the partner. The pattern is described accurately, at the worst moment, in a way that ends the conversation. Withholding a correct observation is the skill here, and it is a genuine skill rather than a concession. Accuracy delivered at the worst moment is not accuracy in any useful sense. Timing is not a softening of the truth; it is a condition of it landing.
The conjunction
Conjunct, the relationship is a design problem. Such people negotiate partnership terms with real skill, and occasionally need reminding that the other party is not a counterparty. Winning an argument here can cost more than the argument was about. Treating a partner as a negotiating position wins the point and costs the position. The other party is a person with a position, which is not the same thing.
Reading it in a chart
The orb settles how strongly this shows: a contact within a degree is a defining feature of a chart, one at the edge of the orb is a colouring. The signs the two planets occupy change the manner, the houses change the arena, and a third planet touching either of them can change the reading entirely.
