Neptune in aspect to Lilith
Neptune blurs the edges and Lilith is what was pushed past them. Together they carry the material a family or a culture agreed not to see, and they carry it without much protection. Artistic power here is considerable, since the pairing can give form to what everyone recognises and nobody mentions. The same porousness makes it hard to tell whose shame is being felt, and a person can spend a decade working through something that was never theirs to begin with. Asking whose feeling this actually is, plainly and often, is the single most useful habit available.

The soft aspects (trine or sextile)
Trine or sextile, the unspoken becomes image. Music, film, poetry and any work that makes an audience admit something all suit it, and the person can enter that material and leave it again. The leaving is the part that distinguishes this from the harder version, and it is what makes a career rather than an episode. The work also tends to be the thing that lets an audience name something they had no words for.
The hard aspects (square or opposition)
Square or opposition, the disowned returns as confusion. Victim and outcast get confused with each other, and escape becomes attractive. Plain speech and ordinary structure are more use here than any amount of insight — the configuration generates interpretation faster than it generates clarity, and more interpretation is not the remedy. A plain description of the last week, with dates, does more than a month of reflection.
The conjunction
Conjunct, the exile is dissolved into everything. Such people are extremely permeable to collective shame and frequently mistake it for their own, which is worth knowing about early and is rarely explained to them. The artistic capacity is considerable and the self-protection is minimal, and the second tends to determine how long the first lasts.
Reading it in a chart
The orb settles how strongly this shows: a contact within a degree is a defining feature of a chart, one at the edge of the orb is a colouring. The signs the two planets occupy change the manner, the houses change the arena, and a third planet touching either of them can change the reading entirely.
