Neptune in aspect to Juno
Neptune idealises and Juno commits, which is a beautiful and hazardous arrangement. The person carries a picture of the bond that is finer than anything achievable, and measures the actual partner against it continuously. Devotion here is genuine and considerable. So is the capacity to stay years past the evidence, since an ideal is not disproved by a particular disappointment and this configuration will always grant one more. A friend willing to ask what actually happened last month is worth more than any amount of reflection. Facts, gently supplied, are the one thing this configuration cannot generate for itself.

The soft aspects (trine or sextile)
Trine or sextile, the ideal is inspiring rather than punishing. Compassion runs both ways and the person forgives ordinary failings without keeping score, which is what lets a long partnership survive its unglamorous stretches. Forgiveness offered without a record is what distinguishes this from the version that keeps score silently. Ordinary failings are forgiven as ordinary rather than stored as evidence for later.
The hard aspects (square or opposition)
Square or opposition, illusion and commitment collide. The partner is not seen accurately in either direction — idealised, then found wanting — and rescue gets mistaken for love. Asking a plain factual question about the relationship is more clarifying than any feeling, and is exactly what the configuration is arranged to avoid. One factual question, asked and answered, does more than a year of feeling about it.
The conjunction
Conjunct, the bond is a devotion. It can be extraordinarily tender and it struggles with the specific person actually present, who is never quite the one imagined. Disappointment here is not evidence of a bad choice; it is the cost of the imagination. The tenderness is real and is aimed slightly to one side of the person receiving it.
Reading it in a chart
The orb settles how strongly this shows: a contact within a degree is a defining feature of a chart, one at the edge of the orb is a colouring. The signs the two planets occupy change the manner, the houses change the arena, and a third planet touching either of them can change the reading entirely.
