Moon in aspect to Lilith
The Moon is need and Lilith is need that was ruled out of order. Together they suggest a household where some ordinary appetite — for attention, food, rage, rest — was treated as excessive, and the child concluded that wanting was the offence. Emotional life afterwards runs hot underneath and careful on top, and the gap between the two is where the trouble sits. The carefulness is convincing enough that most people never suspect the other layer, and the person can go years without anybody asking a question that would reach it.

The soft aspects (trine or sextile)
With a trine or a sextile the hunger is admitted without shame. Feelings arrive at full volume and are neither performed nor hidden, and other people find that permission contagious. Anger in particular is available as information rather than as a crisis, which makes this person unusually easy to be honest around and unusually hard to placate with a soothing phrase.
The hard aspects (square or opposition)
A square or an opposition makes need feel dangerous. Comfort is refused and then demanded, and intimacy is tested with exactly the behaviour most likely to end it. Saying the want plainly, once, does more than a year of managing it — and the difficulty is not courage but vocabulary, since the wanting was never given a name that did not also carry a verdict.
The conjunction
Conjunct, instinct is uncensored. There is real emotional power here and very little muffling, which makes for honesty at close range and frequent collisions with anyone who wanted the pleasant version. The early household is usually implicated: somebody was told they were too much, and concluded correctly that the objection was not really about volume.
Reading it in a chart
The orb settles how strongly this shows: a contact within a degree is a defining feature of a chart, one at the edge of the orb is a colouring. The signs the two planets occupy change the manner, the houses change the arena, and a third planet touching either of them can change the reading entirely.
