Mars in aspect to Juno
Mars asserts and Juno is the arrangement it asserts inside. The contact makes partnership energetic and, one way or another, contested. There is passion and there is friction, and the two are not separable. What the pairing requires is a way of fighting that does not threaten the bond every time it is used, which has to be learned rather than assumed — and it is learned, if at all, in the first serious relationship, at some cost to it. Couples who acquire it are considerably more durable than couples who never fight at all.

The soft aspects (trine or sextile)
Trine or sextile, disagreement is productive. The person can be angry with a partner without the relationship being in question, which is a considerable skill and looks unremarkable from outside. Nothing has to be swallowed, so nothing accumulates. Arguments end and are not carried forward, which is rarer than it sounds and does most of the work.
The hard aspects (square or opposition)
A square or an opposition makes every argument existential. Autonomy is defended as though it were under siege, and separation is threatened as a tactic. Agreeing in advance what is off the table during a fight does most of the work, and the agreement has to be made while nobody is angry, which is when it seems least necessary.
The conjunction
Conjunct, desire and commitment share a temper. Such partnerships are vivid, physical and rarely peaceful, and the participants generally prefer it that way. Outsiders read the friction as trouble and are frequently wrong about it. A quiet partnership would not hold this person, and both of them know it. Peace, offered, would be declined by both of them within a season.
Reading it in a chart
