Lilith in aspect to Juno
Juno sets the terms of commitment; Lilith declines to be conscripted by any of them. The contact marks a hard limit inside partnership: something the person will not surrender to be kept, however reasonable the request appears. It causes trouble in any bond that expects total assimilation and saves the person from most of them. The limit is rarely about anything dramatic; it is more often a small unshared territory that the person is simply not willing to explain. Its size is not the point; its inviolability is, and that is not negotiable at any scale.

The soft aspects (trine or sextile)
Trine or sextile, the limit is stated and respected. The partnership is built around a private area nobody is required to justify, and it is stronger for it. Both parties understand that the reserve is not a withdrawal from them. Respecting it costs the partner nothing once they have stopped taking it personally. It is the taking it personally, rather than the reserve, that does the damage.
The hard aspects (square or opposition)
Square or opposition, the terms and the refusal collide. Commitments are made that could not be kept, and the breaking is dramatic because the objection was never voiced. Saying the condition at the start is the entire remedy, and it is skipped because at the start the condition does not yet feel like one. Stating a condition early sounds cold and is considerably kinder than the alternative.
The conjunction
Conjunct, the arrangement includes an ungovernable clause. Such people commit fully and remain unavailable in one specific respect, and any partner who tries to close the gap finds out how firm it is. Partners who accept it early generally find the rest of the person entirely available. The gap is small, permanent and entirely non-negotiable, and that is the whole of it.
Reading it in a chart
The orb settles how strongly this shows: a contact within a degree is a defining feature of a chart, one at the edge of the orb is a colouring. The signs the two planets occupy change the manner, the houses change the arena, and a third planet touching either of them can change the reading entirely.
