Jupiter in aspect to Juno
Jupiter expands and Juno commits; together they describe a partnership that makes the person's world bigger. Marriage across a difference — of country, faith, class or language — is common, and so is a bond built around a shared belief or a joint project. The pairing is generous and can promise more than it has thought through, usually early and sincerely, and the promises are not withdrawn so much as quietly not mentioned again. Nobody involved was being dishonest; the promise simply belonged to a more expansive afternoon. It is generosity rather than deceit, and it still has to be accounted for.

The soft aspects (trine or sextile)
With a trine or a sextile the relationship genuinely broadens both parties. Travel, study and shared enterprise feature, and the goodwill survives the ordinary attrition. Each is more than they would have been alone, which is not the usual arithmetic. Each keeps their own centre while the shared territory grows, which is what makes it durable. Neither has to shrink for the other to expand, which is the rare part.
The hard aspects (square or opposition)
Square or opposition, expansion and commitment argue. Freedom is wanted and promised away, or the partnership is asked to carry a philosophical weight it was not designed for. Smaller, kept promises repair it, and the repair is mostly a matter of scale rather than of sincerity. Two small promises kept do more for the bond than one large one made.
The conjunction
Conjunct, the bond is a shared meaning. Such couples are usually about something beyond themselves, which sustains them and can obscure whether they still like each other. The shared project outlasts several stages the relationship itself would not have survived alone. Whether they still like each other is worth asking every few years, out loud.
Reading it in a chart
The orb settles how strongly this shows: a contact within a degree is a defining feature of a chart, one at the edge of the orb is a colouring. The signs the two planets occupy change the manner, the houses change the arena, and a third planet touching either of them can change the reading entirely.
