Chiron in aspect to Ceres
Chiron marks what did not heal and Ceres is what should have been provided. Their contact points at care that was missing at the time it was needed. The adult response is almost always to become extremely good at giving precisely what was not received, which helps a great many people and leaves the original account unsettled. The skill is not compensation in any shallow sense — it is genuinely expert, because it was assembled by someone studying the absence from the inside. Nobody trained them; the absence did, and it was a thorough teacher.

The soft aspects (trine or sextile)
Trine or sextile, the gap has become a competence. The person nourishes others skilfully and can, with a little prompting, let it be done for them. The prompting is usually necessary, and the people close to them learn to offer rather than to wait for a request. Offering rather than waiting is a small adjustment that makes an enormous difference to this person.
The hard aspects (square or opposition)
Square or opposition, offering care reopens the wound. Every act of provision carries a faint charge, and being cared for is nearly unbearable. Accepting a small kindness without deflecting it is the exercise, and the deflection is so quick and so charming that it takes a determined friend to notice it happening. The deflection is so practised that the person does not experience themselves as refusing anything.
The conjunction
Conjunct, the injury is in the feeding itself. It produces natural healers whose own hunger is invisible to everybody, including frequently to themselves. What they provide is precisely calibrated to what they did not get, which is why it is so accurate. Being asked what they need, and being waited on for an answer, does more than any amount of gratitude.
Reading it in a chart
The orb settles how strongly this shows: a contact within a degree is a defining feature of a chart, one at the edge of the orb is a colouring. The signs the two planets occupy change the manner, the houses change the arena, and a third planet touching either of them can change the reading entirely.
