Ceres in aspect to Juno
Ceres provides and Juno commits; together they make the partnership into the place where care is exchanged. It is a domestic contact in the fullest sense — a bond built out of meals, practical support and turning up — and it can be deeply sustaining. The difficulty is that care and obligation get confused, so leaving feels like starving someone. That confusion keeps a good many of these partnerships going long after both parties have privately stopped wanting them. Naming the difference between care and obligation is the conversation that unsticks it.

The soft aspects (trine or sextile)
Trine or sextile, provision inside the bond is mutual and unforced. Both parties are looked after and neither is counting, which is what makes it last. The domestic arrangements run themselves and are rarely a subject of argument. It is one of the more comfortable domestic arrangements available and asks very little of either party. Both parties are looked after and neither has ever counted.
The hard aspects (square or opposition)
Square or opposition, the caring becomes the currency. One partner is the parent and the other the child, and the arrangement is stable and slowly corrosive. Naming who is being looked after, and why, is the necessary conversation, and it usually has to be started by the one doing the providing. The parent in the arrangement is usually the one who could end it and least wants to.
The conjunction
Conjunct, to be committed is to feed somebody. It is a warm, capable placement for a household and inclined to mistake the household for the relationship. When the practical business is removed, the couple can find they have not spoken in some time. A week away from the household is a surprisingly informative experiment.
Reading it in a chart
The orb settles how strongly this shows: a contact within a degree is a defining feature of a chart, one at the edge of the orb is a colouring. The signs the two planets occupy change the manner, the houses change the arena, and a third planet touching either of them can change the reading entirely.
