Mars in the fifth house
The fifth house governs children, creative work, romance and play, and Mars gives all four a competitive charge. Creative output arrives in strong bursts, often needing an opponent, a deadline or a stage to become real. Pleasure is pursued directly; flirtation tends to be forward rather than subtle. With children the person is active and involved, sometimes stricter than they intended. Risk carries genuine appeal here, in sport, in speculation, in love.
