Ceres in the seventh house
Ceres in the seventh house puts nourishment into partnership. Love is expressed as provision and measured the same way, so a bond is judged by whether both parties are looked after rather than by how it feels. It makes a warm and capable partner, and a quiet expectation that being cared for is what affection consists of.
In plain words
Ceres stands for how you look after people. This house is the part of your life about partners and close relationships. Here, that shows up in the partners you choose and how you handle a relationship.

Which sign holds it
Under whole-sign houses the rising sign settles every other house at once. If you know your Ascendant, this is the sign your seventh house holds and the planet that rules it.

Quadrant systems such as Placidus cut the houses by the angles instead, so a planet near a cusp can land in a different house from the whole-sign answer. The chart page shows both.
Reading it in context
A keynote is a starting point, not a verdict. What Ceres actually does in your seventh house depends on its sign, its aspects, its dignity, and whether it is in sect. Two people with the same placement and different charts around it live it differently.
