Ceres in the eleventh house
Ceres in the eleventh house locates nurture in the group. Chosen family, mutual aid, the friend who organises everyone's crises. The care is distributed rather than concentrated, which suits the person and can leave the closest relationships oddly under-served while the wider circle is beautifully looked after.
In plain words
Ceres stands for how you look after people. This house is the part of your life about friends, groups and hopes. Here, that shows up in your friends, your groups and the future you hope for.

Which sign holds it
Under whole-sign houses the rising sign settles every other house at once. If you know your Ascendant, this is the sign your eleventh house holds and the planet that rules it.

Quadrant systems such as Placidus cut the houses by the angles instead, so a planet near a cusp can land in a different house from the whole-sign answer. The chart page shows both.
Reading it in context
A keynote is a starting point, not a verdict. What Ceres actually does in your eleventh house depends on its sign, its aspects, its dignity, and whether it is in sect. Two people with the same placement and different charts around it live it differently.
