Pisces Sun · Scorpio Moon · a trine
Pisces Sun with a Scorpio Moon
Two water signs cooperate, and the feeling has both depth and reach. The Pisces Sun opens toward feeling, imagination and mercy; the Scorpio Moon needs intimacy, trust and a private hold on what matters. That combination reads other people accurately and forgives them anyway, which is either wisdom or a slow accumulation of unspoken injuries depending on how it is handled. Solitude is necessary rather than optional. Intensity runs beneath a gentle surface and surprises people occasionally. The bargain here is to say the difficult thing while it is still small, rather than absorbing it and remembering it perfectly.
The two signs
| The pair | a trine — one element shared, so need and purpose speak the same language without effort |
|---|---|
| Sun in Pisces | water (feeling, empathy and intuition), mutable (adapting and finishing), ruled by Jupiter |
| Moon in Scorpio | water (feeling, empathy and intuition), fixed (sustaining them), ruled by Mars |
| Elements | the same element |
What is missing from this page
A Sun and Moon pair is two of the ten placements in a chart. The rising sign changes how both are expressed, the houses say where the story happens, and an aspect from Saturn or Jupiter to either light can change the reading entirely. This page is a starting point, not a summary of a person.

Why the Sun and the Moon, and not just the Sun
A Sun sign on its own describes what a person is aiming at. It says nothing about what they need in order to be able to aim at anything. The Moon is that second thing: the conditions under which a person can rest, recover and feel safe enough to act.
Most of what makes a chart feel like a specific person rather than one of twelve types comes from the relationship between those two. When the Sun and Moon are in signs of one element the two run together and the person tends to be legible to themselves. When they are square or in aversion, the thing that restores the person is not the thing that advances them, and the life has an argument running through it. Neither arrangement is better; they are different problems.
You need a birth time for the Moon
The Moon moves about thirteen degrees a day, so it changes sign every two and a half days. A birth near a sign boundary can be either sign depending on the hour, and no lookup table can settle it. Casting the chart is the only way to be certain.
