Jupiter in the third house
In the third house Jupiter widens the immediate surroundings: brothers and sisters, neighbours, short trips, the ordinary business of learning. Speech becomes generous and persuasive, the mind ranges happily across subjects, and the person is often the one relatives come to for perspective. Local life is sociable, and a brother or sister may act as mentor or as a source of genuine luck. There is talent for teaching, writing and explanation, with a tendency to elaborate past the point where the listener was satisfied.
